Buckshaw Hospital Open Day

Buckshaw Hospital are hosting an open day where you can have the chance to meet the consultants and take a tour of the facilities.

Closed For Training - Mar 24

Please note the surgery will be closed from 1:00pm Tuesday 5th March 2024 for training. This is part of a Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB initiative.

Staff Sickness 14/02/24

Wednesday 14th February 2024, we are currently experiencing unprecedented levels of staff sickness.

National IT Issue - E-mails

Tuesday 2nd January 2024, we are currently experiencing technical issues with our NHS provided e-mails.

Website Refreshed

Our website has had a little refresh for 2024. The colour and style of the website has been updated to better reflect the NHS Style made up of predominately blue and white.

National IT Issue - Resolved

Tuesday 2nd January 2024, 1pm, the national IT issues which were impacting our e-mail system have now been resolved and e-mails are working correctly. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Patient Access Update

Patient Access, the original app for managing all your health care needs, is still available to download and use to make appointments, order medication and view your medical record.

Prescription Line Changes

As part of our review in to how we handle repeat prescription requests we are amending the opening times of the prescription ordering line.
